Audrey Beedle

Audrey is a Mighty Earth lead organizer in Northwest Georgia working to convince Yamaha, the producer of musical instruments and boat motors stop meddling in U.S. fishery policy and keep our oceans healthy.  She graduated from University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a BA in Political Science and Global Studies and minors in French and Human Rights & Humanitarian Affairs. While in school, she served as Director of Communications for a political consulting firm and a legislative policy intern for a state senator. She was also a two-time elected student senator in the Associated Students of University of Nebraska (ASUN) on behalf of the College of Arts & Sciences where she pushed for a “Green Fund,” and was a four-year member of the College Democrats, serving as Vice-President her sophomore year. She is a Green Corps graduate from the class of 2018 and a current Lead Organizer with the class of 2019.
